Washington, DC – The National Police Activities League (National PAL) Board is proud to announce the appointment of Mason Lok as its new Sergeant of Arms. Lok brings 14 years of experience and unwavering dedication to youth development through his work with the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Activities League (SAL).
Mason Lok’s journey with SAL began in 2011 as a participant in the Teen Leadership Council Program. Over the years, his commitment to empowering youth and fostering meaningful community connections has been evident. As a staff member, Mason developed and implemented mentorship programs that have positively impacted the lives of more than 1,000 young individuals. His efforts have equipped youth with the tools needed to succeed in higher education, the workforce, and community leadership.
In 2023, Lok was named “Staff of the Year” by California PAL in recognition of his exceptional work with underserved youth and his dedication to building positive relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve. Beyond his role with SAL, Mason has taken on leadership positions in several local youth development committees, where he has contributed to shaping policies and expanding opportunities for young people throughout California.
As Sergeant of Arms for the National PAL Board, Lok is eager to further the mission of PAL by supporting programs that foster trust and collaboration among youth, law enforcement, and their communities. – The National PAL Board is excited to welcome Mason Lok and looks forward to the impact his expertise and leadership will have on programs nationwide.
