A Program Built on Play and Purpose
The NFL FLAG Football Program, in partnership with National PAL and RCX Sports, gives youth a fun, active way to build skills on and off the field. Designed for participants ages 5 to 17, the program introduces the fundamentals of flag football while reinforcing teamwork, discipline, communication, and sportsmanship.
NFL FLAG combines the excitement of football with intentional youth development. Through structured practices and games, participants learn:

How NFL FLAG Works
NFL FLAG is designed to be easy for PAL chapters to launch and sustain.
- League-based, non-contact flag football
- Age-appropriate divisions for boys and girls
- Official NFL FLAG rules and equipment
- Turnkey support for registration, uniforms, scheduling, and gameplay
- Opportunities to compete in National and Regional Championship tournaments through NFL RCX Flag and National PAL
Chapters receive access to coach and official training, practice plans, skill videos, insurance coverage, background checks, and customizable marketing resources — all in one place. This structure allows local leaders to focus on youth engagement while maintaining national standards.
Mentorship Through Sport
NFL Flag connects youth with law enforcement mentors, coaches and community leaders who serve as positive role models on and off the field. These relationships:

NFL FLAG Grant Opportunities Available
National PAL is excited to offer grant funding to help Chapters launch and expand NFL FLAG programs that create safe, inclusive, and empowering youth sports experiences.
Grants are awarded in $1,000 increments, up to $4,000, and are designed to support essential startup needs such as registration access, equipment, field use, coaching support, and program celebrations. Funding decisions are guided by demonstrated community need, alignment with National PAL’s mission of positive youth development, commitment to inclusivity, long-term sustainability, and measurable impact for participating youth.
Funding will be awarded until available grant funds are fully allocated.
